My bigger stepups have a pulled in tail. As to a singlefin, it's like when I use my fish on a big day, the board glides so much it just goes past the barrel with no chance of staying inside.

So I guess I would have to ask my shaper if my fins are "further back" I have a 6'9" step up I use, I might just set it up as a quad with some size S on the back, see how it does.
