Spinner Shark in California??

I saw a small shark jump and spin while surfing the other day. It looked exactly like this:

But apparently there are no spinner sharks around here. Do other sharks do that, too?

I was surfing in Crescent City, CA.

I have seen sharks do that in Hawaii, saw a tiger shark do it but it was hooked up to my heavy duty shoreline fishing gear (80 pound test main line)

It's not a spinner shark species, if filmed in Crescent City, CA. Too cold and too far away from species distribution region. Yes, many sharks do this. Some upon occasion. Some more frequently. I'm not a shark, but even I do this in Pacific Ocean near Santa Barbara. (smile)
