Where to surf San Diego

Hi,

I am staying in San Diego currently and am wondering where would be best to go to catch some waves (preferably rights) as a beginner.
The level I am at is that can stand up and make trimmy turns on a shortboard on easy right-hand point breaks but haven't really surfed any beach breaks yet.

During the summer, every spot is for beginner. Just find somewhere you like and is convenient to you.
