Just wonderin, what do you pack in your bags before surfing

I have a backpack with the following supplies:

-bandaids: case of cuts
-wax: duh
-fin keys: in case I need to swap or repair
-extra leas: case I brake one
-sunblock:duch again
-extra fins: have a variety, I just buy them by the piece at the swapmeet, I break a left fin I have one handy
-power bar
-gatorade
-brush and gel: in case I have to go to work
-flip flops

* Rashie
* Boardies
* Hoodie (except when it's 32C+)
* Wetsuit (except when it's 32C+)
* Booties (always, I have a bad toe)
* Towel(s)
* 5 liters hot/cold water (depending on the weather)
* Empty 15 liiter container (big enough to stand in)
* Change of clothes
* Trenchcoat (I am lazy and it's easier than the dread towel-hop in the carpark).
* Waterproof sunscreen
* Hydration!
* Zinc cream
* Wallet
* Emergency repair kit (gaffer tape and 2-part epoxy putty)
* Mobile phone
* Spare surf crap (fins, leash, whatever)

I pack pretty light, because I have my wetsuit on me and my board under my arm. I live a couple blocks from the beach.

I usually call a taxi(here in venezuela they're cheap as hell), its a 10 minute or 15 minute drive, depending on the break I go to.
And I take my board, and pack my completely torn apart backpack with these items:
-a towel
-wetsuit
-sunscreen
-wax(if I have)
-as much food as I can find
-my cheap ass phone
-5 bolivares for an empanada


I'd take my ipod and a bit more money, but I just leave my backpack on the shore...

I ride my bike to the beach so somtimes when
i wake up at 6:00am and surf I will put my wetsuit in my backpack and where some sweat pants, jacket, vans shoes, wax, water, and carrie my board. Not that fun of surf in Coronado, but if its 2-5 feet it can be pretty fun. Cloes out after 5 and above.

i walk to the beach so all i take is a towel and a board best for the conditions. been favoring my Frank 6'1 latley tho

Thats a fair shout, I wish I lived within walking distance of some good surf, would be so sweet to be able to get up, look outside and think, ya know what, I'm going for a sesh right now.

haha i dont live that close but my house mate rides his treadly down at like 5am then comes bak n tell me what its like lol

First i get up turn on the comp and find out the conditions.
i use surfline or surf-forecast.com
Then i get:

+Car keys(they go in leash)
+Wallet(goes in shorts)
+shorts(goes in car)

+T-Shirt(stays in car)
+Leash
+6'6 x 21 x 2 7/8 Retro Fish (My go to board, not a real pic)
+6'5 x 19 x 2.25 Hybrid shortboard (my learning board)
+Sex wax(stays in car)
I FORGET TO BRING THE FOLLOWING:
+towel
+shorts
+wax
and thats never fun lol

Haha, Well, I'd love to even live close enough to go check the surf. I love about an hour from any good surf, but give it a year and I'll be driving so all will be good then (Y)

I don't... I doubt most people do.... If they do they must have to clean their board a LOT

Maybe I'll put a light coating over if doesn't feel right, else just leave it and maybe comb with a wax comb...

Oh and CT is safe as hell, just watch out for longboarders they are inconsiderate sometimes and groms can be annoying ya wanna klap em too xD
