About Surf Clothing
If you are new to surfing then you'll want to look good. The great news is that to get yourself kitted out so you look like a surfer in all the hottest brands is very easy. Surfers come in all shapes, sizes and styles. They are no longer the stereotypical long haired, dope smoking hippies of the 60's and because of this we are going to keep it to the basics.
We now have many items to check out at our surf shop. Use the links here to men's surf clothing or women's surf clothing. You can also get all your surfing equipment needs there. Below are a list of online surf shops that also sell clothing and equipment. Thousands of products from the main surf stores are available to choose from in the Surfing Waves Surf Shop. Choose from our current selection of board shorts, tees, tops (that include hoodies, sweaters and more), shirts and polo's, pants & jeans, jackets, hats, shoes and sandals - they are all here!
You need something functional for surfing footwear - there is nothing worse than wet sandy trainers after a day at the beach. So what's the answer? we hear you cry. They are lightweight, cheap and ideal for the conditions - they are sandals, jandles, flip flops or thongs.
We have seen what to wear in the water in the Wetsuit section but what about something handy to wear both in and out of the water. The greatest item in a surfers wardrobe is a decent pair of boardies, and check out these bad boys!
Surfing involves a lot of time outside on bright sunny days (hopefully!) on the beach and looking out over the ocean checking out the waves, so a decent pair of Sunglasses is essential. There are loads out there but it is worth paying a bit of money to get some that give you decent protection from the sun - cheap sunglasses just do not cut it.
It's Important To Look Good
if you are out there trying to pull the guy / chick with the nice smile. But as far as looking good out of the surf - it is not important at all. Don't bother shopping for clothes and nice gear - get your essentials and get out there in the surf. Check out the equipment you will need at the Surf Shop.
