Another video, mushy day today (this is the usual for our area). Surprisingly the waves were easy to catch.
My main focus during this session was to have my front arm in the proper spot, knees inwards and more forward facing stance. I think in the third clip I should have moved forward slightly to stay on the wave. Oh well. Second clip I should have turned backside slightly to stay with the wave.

How did it feel? Looks pretty good to me. I agree that you probably have a bit too much weight on the back at times so next step is to work in subtle weight changes through your hips (see link below) and get down the face a bit more. On mushy waves like that, it can be a bit of an effort - you may need to head straight down instead of early turning. And dont forget that you can move your back foot back for harder turns

However, stance wise, nice.

A safety thing for you considerimmediately: please learn to pull off the wave by turning , the step off fall off the back of the board technique will one day catapult the board high into the air. Rebounding back on you or worse still someone nearby. .
The rest is a a work in progress butane will get better, control your board as much as possible coming off the wave!

The way to cut out is to step back on the tail and use your ankles to turn the board then lean into the turn then lay back down when the board faces the other way. At first you may just fall down but after a while you will get it (probably). Other ways to control the board is to just step on the tail and put lots of pressure on your rear foot bringing the nose way out of the water causing you to stall and the wave will pass you by, then just sit back on the board. Another way is to just sit on the board and drag your legs.
