Bonjour Callum!

Ok, I won't go into all that again, I reeeeeally don't have the energy or will power to write in French tonight! For a 17 year old who's been learning French for 9 years, I always think I'm pretty bad at it! I guess everyone could always be better at stuff though, huh? I can hold my own in a conversation so i s'pose that's something! But I'm sure that any French people looking at this will be laughing. A lot...!

Anyway people, tomorrow (at 1.35 exactly..!) is the day of THE talk....hopefully I won't screw up! And you never know, maybe it'll persuade a room full of bored girls to go learn to surf! That'd be an achievement...I'd better go practice or I won't have a clue what I'm saying!

Thanks again for all the help - doubt I would have been able to cope on my own!

PPS: My friend asked me who Beau was earlier. OH MY GOOOOOD! The pain! needless to say she is now fully educated! And yes, I have put some pictures of him surfing at the end of my talk...Hehe! That should wake everyone up if they've fallen asleep from boredom...But having said that, who could get bored when they're listening to stuff about surfing?! xxx

Wooh! Did my talk and it went really well :) half my class now seem to be converted and wanna learn to surf (including our teacher...if you saw her, you'd understand why that's a very funny but quite scary mental picture!) Slideshow thing didn't work properly because we have rubbish computers at school so I didn't get to show everyone Beau...! But they got to see the first few slides of some very cool advanced surfing!

PHEW! Very relieved. But I still have to do at least another three talks this year (damn public speaking!) on colonisation (?! Why?!), current affairs, and one on anything I like. Ah well, I didn't screw up this time, that's the main thing!

How does anyone live their lives without surfing???!
