That is the bottom of the pool that I was standing in that was a couple yards (4-5) from the edge of the sea. Not a surfing area but is known for snorkeling, scuba and for schools of dolphins that will come and surround your boat on early morning outings.

Great Mendocino kayaking spot. There is a labyrinth of rocky coves and clear water. Beware when the tide comes in!
