I sold the Byrne 7' semi gun I had and got this....I liked the Byrne's shape, it was tuflite epoxy and just too light on bigger waves with any chop in the face....wound up getting passed over consistently because I wanted a more solid and heavier board on a bigger wave....just got it out of the ding shop this afternoon. 7'4"x20x3" Hawaiian board I bought off a 6'6" giant who was here from HI on a trip. Feels good under the arm and has the anti shark stripes LOL.

Point of that was that I'll get a chance to try it for the first time next week.

Nice board! I was looking at it too, but bit too thick for my 165lbs I think.. I had the same experience on a Tuflight with bumpy faces, too hard to control..

Yeah, that project is crazy! Especially running through the entire wet season and peak Dec periods. Traffic will be insane; will be using the scooter more that's for sure.

And it's only been a couple of years since they finished that roundabout.. Oops, forgot something, maaf.....

"Maaf" - The blanket to cover all sins......TBH even though that roundabout is relatively new, Bali and the traffic have outgrown it already......hellish to go through when international departures at the airport are queued up.

In my opinion it's because of the total absence (to name 1..) of zipper merging, it looks like nobody want to give up position and let the other car go first. Instead they slowly slowly ride up until all space is taken and nobody can move anymore, all in polite smiles.

Last few times I was there, there were 4 policemen at every exit, very busy guiding traffic..
