it only gets good in the winter, in the summer all we do is sit about and drive west. it hardely ever gets like it is in the last picture which is a reef so the condition need to be perfect

I usually surf Swamis, 15th Street in Del Mar, and lately La Jolla. If I'm feeling suicidal I'll go to Black's. All these spots are in San Diego (sorry there aren't any pics).

I went with a few friends to try out Windandsea this morning. There was one surfer out there. When we got down to the shore he came out and told us to go somewhere else. I was in complete disbelief. Here we are, five of us, and this prick was telling us to leave so he can have it all to himself. I didn't even want to deal with it so we just left. It wasn't even great surf. That was my first encounter with an asshole like that.

Anyone know about any other good surf spots in S.D.?

wow, thats pretty bad even for windansea. ive probably seen the guy. maybe he just meant it was crappy and you should pic a different spot?

yeah that sounds pretty odd, cant imagine someone getting all "locals only" to a group of 5 people when hes on his own. you should have just gone out if you thought it looked ok, what s he gonna do beat all 5 of you up?
