Surfing Waves

Anyone get popped in the face yet?
Chill out and cherish the small waves, as you sit on the beach this weekend watching others get barrelled and their boards snapped by emerald Indo reef giants

I used to like going up there. Wave can be really good. Hate that crowd and the traffic to get up there isn't worth it at all.

At one time the Kuta Police chief was a colleague in my Kung Fu School surf fights were not an issue requiring any police intervention.
I ran foul of ‚‘‘ surfers and gang member from a big island to the west of Bali,gang members, I fought my way from them using the coral walls of the alley, they ran one way I ran the other straight to the police station, my friend was there, they picked up the gang from the one that went to,hospital, they all were sent to the big island. Later some were. arrested in connections to the Bali bombings.
BTW I was there in bombing time, family i supported over the years warned me not to go to town.
