Need help for choosing a surfboard.

I want to ride the surf in Tenerife in Las Americas.
What board (size, type) and equipment advise me?

My height is 193 cm
My weight is 95 kg.

If you are just starting out I would recommend a longboard at least 9 feet long. Longer boards are more stable and easier to catch waves with. You will also ride the waves you do catch much further with a longer board. They are basically much easier for beginners!
