Billabong Solution Gold - Opinions Anyone??

Postby lukas » Sun Mar 30, 2008 4:20 pm

Hi, have seen the Solution Gold 5/4 reduced from £250 to £125 in my local Billabong store. Seems like a bargain to me and ive been thinking of getting a more flexible winter suit than my Bodyglove suit i got a couple of years ago - it seems pretty stretchy, am going to have another look at it when ive got time. I thought i'd see what peoples opinions are on this suit before i get it. ive heard bad things about the Ripcurl suits (seams coming apart, maybe because of the cold) and i dont want to spend my money on something thats going to fall to pieces after a little while.

would appreciate any info,

cheers

luke

Those things are the warmest suits EVER, infact, unless the water is like 9C I think it might be a little to warm.

BIllabong wetsuits wouldn't be my first choice. I've seen a lot of them returned for various reasons. However, Billabong recently bought Excel wetsuits, which are far superior - IMO.

I think Billabong will be making better wetsuits very shortly

With the exchange rate, you might want to look at some of the US store and get something shipped an save a bundle. For $230USD, you can get a new O'Neill Psycho or Mutant, which are about the best suits I've worn.
