Bundoran Peak

The Peak at Bundoran is one of the finest waves in Ireland. It's a fast breaking hollow wave, that produces good quality left and rights.

The wave is best at low and rising tide and works on westerly swells.

A few years back, the wave was in danger being destroyed. Developers wanted to build a marina on the spot, which would have signalled the end of a national treasure. But thanks to the efforts of surfers everywhere, campaigning against the development, the spot was saved.
