General Description
One of the main beaches in Newquay. More open to swell than some of the surrounding beaches and does catch a lot of swell. Offshore ESE and works on all tides on a west swell.
This beach gets very busy in the summer with all the tourists giving surfing a try.

How to get there
Head north along the coast from Newquay town center and you will get to Watergate Bay.

Plenty of places to stay in Newquay with pretty much any budget catered for.

Public access but parking can be tricky. There are two car parks one nearer the beach and another further
Equipment Hire
All the surf shops around the town will hire out gear. There is also Xtreme academy on the beach who will hire gear out including hard boards
