General Description
Beach break close to Auckland on the west coast of the north island. It's south west facing location means it catches a lot of swell and it's consistent with waves all year round.
Offshore in an east wind.
Best surf is normally around mid to high tide.

Drive to Piha from Waiatarua on the Piha Road and head through Piha to the beach. You can make this a day trip from Auckland.
