Tahiti surfing event postponed again.
The third event of the men's surfing world championship tour at Teahupoo in Tahiti will start on Sunday after contest organisers called their ninth straight lay-day.
Half metre waves again greeted surfers at the famed left-hand reef break with organisers and surfers agreeing to call the contest off for the day.
However, with only four days remaining in the competition window the contest must start on Sunday.
It seems the organisers patience will be rewarded too with a rise in swell predicted to arrive in the next 24 hours.
