FSO Expression Session returns to Fat Face Night Surf 05
FSO are returning to Lusty Glaze for the FSO Expression Session at the Fat Face Night Surf. The night surf is the second event on the British Professional Surfing Association (BPSA) Tour and with it comes one of the best atmospheres all tour. Lusty Glaze is situated 10 minutes north of Fistral and is a perfect event site, self sufficient for all facilities and surrounded by 200ft cliffs, creating a natural amphitheatre to watch the action.
The FSO Expression Session will take place on the weekend of the 13th May and will consist of 16 invited BPSA surfers with two 8 man heats, the top 4 of each advancing to the final. The prize purse of £500 will be split between the top four surfers in four categories: Best air, most powerful move, most progressive move, best overall session. The expression session is one of the most exciting formats in surfing, where surfers are not constricted by regular contest rules. Surfers are rewarded for explosive and radical moves and without the worry of falling they do not disappoint, making the expression session the most audience friendly event in surfing.
As well as the expression session FSO will also give £250 to the surfer who performs the best floater of the weekend as part of their style move program. Last year Jason Apparicio from Trinidad took home the money and no doubt he’ll be back to try and retain his title.
FSO will also be joining up with Fat Face and Foster’s to put on the, now famous, party at Lusty Glaze. Barbies and bands will keep the masses fed and entertained late into the night. Its going to be more fun than ever so don’t be late!
