San Juan Capistrano, Calif. - October 16, 2007 - Surfing America, the national governing body for surfing in the USA, is gearing up for the annual SIMA Surfing America USA Championships on the southside of the Huntington Beach Pier. The event, which decides the undisputed USA surfing champions by pooling top talent from the ESA, HSA, NSSA, TGSA, and WSA, is set for Huntington Beach during October because it is known for its optimal swell and weather conditions.
