Lozano Back In Action

The surfer from Puerto Escondido will compete in El Salvador and Mexico, where the next two stages of the ALAS tour will take place. Lozano will be one of Surfos Magazine’s “Sopa de Latinos - Latin Soup-” protagonists.

Last Monday the successful Mexican surfer Angelo Lozano traveled to El Salvador to participate in the sixth ALAS Latin Tour stage organized by the Latin American Surfing Association. The Movistar Latin Pro Punta Roca will be carried out in the city of La Libertad from August 30th to September 2nd. Lozano will compete in the Pro Junior and Open division.

“September will be a busy month with a lot of trips. I will be visiting El Salvador, Ixtapa in my country, Costa Rica and Peru. I have the same goals every time I start a new stage of the ALAS tour, I aim to obtain the best results for Mexico and to be among the best Latin American surfers”, said the Squalo team member to Surfpress.

Lozano will travel to Costa Rica in order to participate in Surfos’ project: “Sopa de Latinos”. The prestigious specialized magazine organizes this surf trip that will visit almost every Costa Rican spot. The Mexican surfer was especially invited by Surfos managers and he will share the project with twenty other surfers that represent the most pure Latin American surfing spirit.

A week after the Latin Pro Punta Roca, Angelo Lozano will fly to Ixtapa where the seventh stage of the ALAS tour will take place. The IXTAPA – ZIHUATANEJO Latin Pro –a six-star rated event- will be the first Latin Tour contest in history to be held in Aztec’s lands. Angelo will rip along with the big number of local athletes that will participate in the event.

ÁNGELO LOZANO VUELVE A LA ACCIÓN

El surfista de Puerto Escondido desplegará toda su clase en El Salvador e Ixtapa, lugares de las dos próximas fechas del tour ALAS. Las páginas de la revista Surfos lo tendrán como uno de los protagonistas de Sopa de Latinos.

El pasado lunes el ascendente surfista mexicano Ángelo Lozano partió rumbo a El Salvador con motivo de la sexta fecha del tour ALAS organizado por la Asociación Latinoamericana de Surf, el Movistar Latin Pro Punta Roca que se realizará en la ciudad de La Libertad del 30 de agosto al 2 de septiembre, tendrá al local de Puerto Escondido como uno de los grandes animadores en la categoría Pro Junior como así también en Open.

“Septiembre será un mes de muchos viajes, El Salvador, mi país en la zona de Ixtapa, Costa Rica y Perú son los lugares que visitaré. Cada vez que encaro una nueva etapa de ALAS lo hago con la misma premisa, obtener el mejor resultado para México y así terminar el año entre los mejores surfistas de América Latina”, comentó a la agencia Surfpress el integrante del team Squalo.

La visita de Lozano a Costa Rica tendrá como objetivo participar del proyecto: Surfos- Sopa de Latinos, surf trip organizado por la prestigiosa revista especializada que recorrerá casi todos los spots del mencionado país. Al itinerario el mexicano fue especialmente invitado por los directivos de Surfos, y se sumará a una nómina de alrededor de 20 surfistas que representan el más puro espíritu del surfing latinoamericano.

Una semana después del Latin Pro Punta Roca la hoja de ruta depositará a Ángelo Lozano en Ixtapa donde se desarrollará la séptima etapa del tour ALAS. El IXTAPA – ZIHUATANEJO será la primera vez del circuito latino en suelo azteca, y tendrá categoría de seis estrellas. El crédito de Puerto Escondido estará encabezando el nutrido lote de atletas locales que se dará cita para defender los colores de la casa.
