Miriam Imaz Wins Billabong Solo Chicas Circuit
The unique Billabong Solo Chicas (Girls Only) surf tour couldn’t have come to a better end with more than 120 girls showing up in Zarautz (Basque Country) for third and final stop of the circuit.
Even the weather cooperated, with sun and waves on offer all through the week-end! All the participants were treated with the best of surfing and its unique lifestyle ... a national surfing competition but also surfing lessons, BBQ's, live music and a video night including exclusive footage from the day, followed by a Free As A Dog screening.
On the surfing front, some of the participants were ready for the Billabong Solo Chicas title and the grand prize, others for the attractive gift bags and the free surfing lessons, courtesy of Billabong.
Miriam Imaz won the event and Estitxu Estremo and Lore Eizaguirre finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Billabong's team achieved great performance with Mirka Solar taking the Billabong Solo Chicas (three-event tour) crown for the second consecutive year, Leticia Canales winning the Under 16 division and Ana Moreau winning the Under 14.
