Billabong Welsh National Championships
2005’s Billabong Welsh National Championships will be held on the coming May Day bank holiday weekend. Surfers from all over Wales will gather at Freshwater West, Pembrokeshire to compete in 11 categories. With the European Championships in Portugal in October a good showing at the championships could mean a chance to represent their Wales on an international stage.
Heats re filling quickly especially in the Junior girl category where Welsh surfers are particularly strong at the moment so you need to get those entries in – forms are available from www.welshsurfingfederation.org.uk or www.britsurf.co.uk.
