Toby Atkins Gets Second In the 720 Open Surf
A great week for Toby Atkins placing 2 nd in the 720 China Surf Open held in small conditions at Dong Chong Beach in China.
Having flown out to take part in the $25,000 Event Toby surfed well dominating each heat until the final where he was very unlucky not to win after scoring the high heat wave before being starved a second for the win.
Toby now travels to Hawaii to stay at the Hot Tuna house on the North Shore to surf with international team riders Bron Heussenstamm, Shea Lopez and Hawaiian charger Cody Graham who will be competing in the Pipe Masters Expression Session! This will be Toby’s first experience of Hawaii and he is relishing the prospect.
Congratulations on China Tobes and have fun in Hawaii, it looks like its gonna be huge!
