Just got a new 7'6" board with a matt finish.
Before taking it out just want to check whether it is necessary to get a gloss and polish finish?
I expect its just a question of style, its a dumb question I know and I am pretty confident it is fit to go out as is but wanted to get some other opinions. Don't want to go ruining the board too soon!!
Any advice gratefully received.

It is good to go. Get it out in the water.
