Really? I've looked at those Ivan pics and I have to admit they look ok, but not that great really. If namino tsume thinks those are super waves, I can't imagine how much slop the poor bloke has to put up with. :(
I grew up surfing in South Africa and probably wouldn't go out in those Texas conditions most days. It's fantastic to hear how stoked so many people are with small waves, just going into the ocean for a fix, no matter how small and sloppy the surf is... good for you! I'm living in the Uk now and only surf a couple of times a year, but still enjoy every moment of it. 8)
I guess I was more than spoilt growing up - here's a pic of my local spot and note that we got waves like thses twice a week all year round.
