H2Odyssey wetsuit

Postby little waves » Sun Oct 03, 2004 3:38 pm

Has anyone ever heard of the brand H2Odyssey for making wetsuits? If so, are they any good? They seem to be on the cheap side, and i was thinking of purchasing one for my boyfriend - I won't bother if its no good though. any tips?

hold off on the H2O odyssee suits!

i got a 4/3 H2O Odyssee wetsuit and although it is ok, it is far from great. the suit is made out of the older neoprene material and doesn't stretch very well. i'd rather spend another U$30 and get a really comfortable suit with the newer 'super-stretch' material. it really makes a difference!
otherwise the fit is fine.

cool, thanks foam, and welcome to the forum. i think i might keep checking prices and go with something different. the 4/3 oddysey i could get for like $75, which i think is a super deal, so if i can find something else close to that i might get it instead.

I actually just got one today and yeah it's not as flexible as others, but it'll do and I'm way stoked to finally have a new wetsuit!

H2odyssey Wetsuits Rating

Postby surfing instructor » Sun Jun 15, 2008 8:01 am

Hi, I have been teaching surfing, windsurfing, and diving for over 10 years. The H2odyssey Wetsuit is hads down the best value for your money.

My students at all levels use these wetsuits because the are flexible, high quality, and designed to keep you warm. Yes, you can buy them for less than other brands on ebay, that is a GOOD thing. Why spend more than a hundred dollars on a wetsuit? If you do, you are being over sold. The big brands do a lot of marketing and quite frankly, the quality isn't there. These suits are backed by the manufacturers. So get yourself a wetsuit, not a brand name, and go have some fun!
