so i went to meet my girlfriend kate in town when she finished work. i havent seen her for a while and such. when she comes out shes a bit funny with me. we had a pretty deep convo for a bit about the future n stuff then she told me she'd cheated on me.

i dunno what to do. i really like(d) her but i dont think id be able to trust her again.

"shxt happens", "move on" is all way to easy for us to say but for you it is a real bummer and I feel for you fella.
It is never nice to be shafted by someone close to you sort of like a “knife in the back”.

She is not worth it in my opinion but there again I do not know her.
One thing for sure if you go back you will forever not trust her again and that causes trouble and is not a good start to any relationship.
Relationships are built on trust and without trust it is just s*x and s*x is not everything.

On a lighter note you could try the following...

1) Stop worrying there are many more girls out there, or learn how to shape surfboards, that way you will never have the time to go out anyway or worry about not having a girl friend.

2) STOP watching "Snooker", that is enough to kill any relationship dead, unless you are in your 80's.

that sucks... there's not much I can say to make it suck any less, but at least she told you, and you didn't find out off someone else... I tell you that sucks more.

Also, at least it happened a long time before Xmas, so you don't have any useless pre-bought xmas present to dispose of.

Yep, imho, walking away is probably the best thing to do. Sounds like she has issues with fidelity and at least you found that out now. Maybe she'll turn out to be a trustworthy person later in life but you know that she isn't right now so move on and find someone who is. You deserve it!
