Surf necklace design

Hi, I am from the UK.

I'm designing a surf necklace, and I'm seeing what people like.

Could you list a couple of ideas / features / materials / colours, that you would like to see on the necklace?
If you could add some more information, I would be grateful!

All surfers like anything that has the word Billabong, Roxy or Ripcurl on it, and it has to be gold, not just any gold it has to be the REALLY shiny stuff, and preferably studded with diamonte, not diamonds, diamonte, or even better cubic zirconia. Big chunky gold chain would be also add a classy touch. Oh and make it coconut scented, surfers only by things that smell of coconut.

on a more serious note... i like necklaces made of natural/earthy materials and shells... prefer chokers and don't like anything really OTT or massive.

I am pretty partial to hand made hemp necklaces....easy to make, and they look nice I think.

well, looks like a lot of us are into makin hemp necklaces. I think i need to make a new one because the one i was wearing two years ago i wear as a bracelet now. Just go out and buy like a 15 dollar hemp jewelry set, they give you all the hemp you need and plenty of sweet tropical beads or shells to go in there along with some really good instructions on how to make em. just make a bunch and see which one you like
