Stomp pad removal on epoxy

Hey guys im am about to get a nice used Epoxy Al merrick 6'8" Flyer. It has a stomp pad and a front foot pad. i wanted to know if i took of the front foot pad (becasue it gives me a rash) will it seperate the epoxy from the foam or do any damage?

If you use a decent removant luquid (I don't know the name, but loads of people on here do) it shouldn't damage the board in anyway.

PS. Have you tried a rash vest?

ok thanks. yes i do use a rash guard. but thats not the only reason i dont want it there. the person who had this board before me must have had a smaller base than i do and my leg goes over it and it just doesnt feel right.

ok i got the board and i took the front deck grip off. but there is still the sticky residue. how do i get it off without damaging hte epoxy?

White spirit. A SMALL amount and a scoury sponge (gently!) will do the job :D

For a cheaper option, the juice of a lemon should do the trick!

And...err...if it doesn't work it hasn't cost you a fortune and your board will smell lemony fresh! :D

i would use Goof-off..
it works for pretty much everything, stickers and such, so
should work for the residue. i dunnow, it's worth a try.
