When were you there, I was out there on Sunday evening with my camera, waves weren't as big as I hoped, I think all those freighters out there were creating a wave break, so we didn't get any really big waves.

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but this is where I learned to surf. I didn't find out about the nickname Ray Bay until the third day though and every piece of garbage that floated by my legs after that scared the hell out of me.

That's seal beach? I guess I've never seen it at that angle since I'm always on the North side of the pier. Mostly boogie boarders there?
