the members meeting forum......

hello people

i was just having a think as to whether the members meetup thing should be a bit more limited.... like to people with 50+ posts the same as the profiles page thing.

Its just that the internet is a scary place and I wouldnt want any weirdos stalking me if they knew I happened to be at XYZ break, just because they stumbled across it on this forum while passing through...

does that make sense?

ha ha. You should make it to like 200! I've seen people accumulate 30-40posts in one day just saying 'yea' and 'cool'

It's probably too complicated, but how about having posting in the 'profiles' section and looking at the 'meetings' section limited to 'by invite only?' Once moderatos feel that a member is a propper regular worthy of having a profile, they allow them to post in the profile section. And once the moderators are satisified that someone isn't some sort of stalker, they're allowed to see the meetings section?

Just a thought... work is boring at the mo anyway...
