you guys have some terrific hobbies going on...

i've only recently taken up surfing, skateboarding, been playing badminton for 3 years, gotten back to swimming, enjoy reading, run, dance (taken hip hop dance, yet to do ballroom), cook ( at least try to do it well haha)

i think i'm so addicted to surfing is because i'm a perfectionist at heart, and like any art, i want to make a masterpiece out of it. but more importantly, it's such a liberating expression of movement, the epitome of harmony between body, mind, and spirit. at least, imho

i was curious do you guys have any suggestions as to hobbies that yield similar feelings when you surf? i'm so addicted to the feeling......

windsurfing, climbing (occasionally) listening to evil heavy metal/reggae/classical music/jazz, making up silly stories, catching butterflies, employing retired garden gnomes, testing idiot proof devices, eating mangoes.

Surfing, cycling, sitting in the bath, listening to loud music with rocks in, despairing about how you used to be able to go to interesting pubs/clubs but they're all a corporate mediocrity now, fixing camper vans, driving camper vans, pretending Im not lost in camper vans, riding motorbikes, putting motorbikes that Ive broken back together again, climbing, indoboarding in front of the telly, skateboarding in front of the telly, cooking for a family of five but then eating it all myself, unicycling (very badly), looking at swell charts instead of working, looking at forums instead of working, writing rubbish on forums instead of working, banging head against a brick wall instead of working, sweating, sleeping, daydreaming about get-rich-quick schemes, not actually doing anything about said schemes, inventing hobbies for forums.
