There is nothing else to do inbetween sets,,,sometimes it takes up to 5 minutes,,,,what's a guy to do! Usually I just give the camera to my son,,,that way I am not the perv guy,,,,,he is only 12,,that makes it cool!
Seriously though, there are some guys on the pier with killer setups,,and all they do is shoot at little girls on the beach,,,fricking perverts! As I walk by them I make sure to comment on it so they can hear!

It's just one of those throwaway kind you buy for 6 bucks........no, I use a Canon 20D with a 70-300 lens,,,and then PhotoShop helps out to bring out the natural colors,,,,,that's all.

I dont even have a camera and was wondering which is a pretty good one to purchase which is not to expensive? I want to start taking pictures of my friends and I when we go surfing but I'm not sure what to get.

If there was a vote for best surf photographer in the forum I think the dog would earn it hands down.

Excellent as usual.

Can I hear you say:

"NICE ONE BRUVVAH!

i guess that depends on how much "not too expensive" is. Much like in surfing, that phrase is very relative. If you can drop a grand or so you could probably get a digital rebel SLR body and then a so so 70 to 300 lens.

If thats too far out of your price range i would suggest a canon or nikon digital point and shoot, something with as much optical zoom as you can get if you're gonna be standing on the beach trying to take pictures of surfers. those are just my suggestions.
