salomon s-core

yo.. does anyone have any information on surfing those new salomon boards? Is it worth getting one of those instead of a more traditional foamboard? It's a lot more money...

my mate is sponser by salamon, and he got one cheap and i had a go on it, and it was 6' and i ride a 6'2 and it felt more boyant that my 6'2, buy much easyer to duck dive. if youve got a spare $500 then i would advise buying one, but only if your a good shortboarder. theirs a man who surfs south coast with one and he is c**p, he stads up then falls and he sits way to far out, its so funi, but i supose we were all that bad once.
