Ah now Finnally somthign I can really rant about!!!!
Ok well if you havn't got any yet then I'd have to say Mikey Smiths First main flick "Against the Grain" is a MUST for any sponger. Fantastic world footage (UK and Ireland too!) Great souindtrack and capturing the vibe well authough Mitch Rawlins is his usual spinny self in his interview!
If you like the whole traveling/community side of sponging/surfing then check out his follow up flick "ABC" (A Blank Canvas)
The No Friends vids are always solid, good tunes and great riding. These tend to focus on all riding so they are great to watch for practice and then go out and give the tricks a crack. NF1 still remains in my top 5 Vids of all time for sure.
They are re-releasign the old ones on twin DVD's well worth it so you can get NF 1 & 2 for £20 with all the extra bonus stuff they've put on.
If your after UK based stuff then "RSK" is great. Made by a mate of mine of him and his mates on their travels in UK, Ireland, France, and West Oz. ITs pretty rustic footage quality wise but still well good. Great tunes all edited together with the style of a pro, well good for his first attempt. Find it here: http://www.rskonline.co.uk/
Other UK titles to look out for: "Test Pilots", "Heritic"
The "Tension" series of films are good also some insane footage on the last two releases. Most of the ones from Oz and Tazmania have some great riding in with their own style of editing and capturing what the groups get up to.
Personally I'm not into the big name sponging, tho don't get me wrong I do respect it and its great to watch. I tend to go for the unknowns or lesser known riders and their travels. Always entertaining.
