10 days in Fiji in July

Postby passion_of_the_crest » Mon Apr 10, 2006 7:05 am

hey guys, just wondering if any of you know some good spots for a novice sufer like me. I'll be staying in Nadi, and I hear there are some pretty big reef breaks out there, but none that I actually want to paddle out into. can anyone name a few fun places for me to not get killed or severely injured?

If you don't like reef breaks you don't have any choice except the Sigatoka river mouth.

If reef breaks don't phase you but you want to go a bit more intermediate maybe Kongs or Daku at Nagigia (http://www.fijisurf.com/) or one of many other options (try http://www.wannasurf.com/spot/Australia ... index.html as a start).

For beginners maybe Little Daku (http://www.fijisurf.com/daku.htm)?

There's plenty of info out there if you trwal for it. I came up with about 50 pages on breaks and accomodation over a three week period before the holiday fell through.
