Big names = big bucks. That's what it's all about to them. Most of these company's started out with good intentions but lost their way when the money started rolling in. I know for a fact that printing their logo's ands designs have gotten pretty expensive but that's not a good enough excuse. Stay with the company's that give back to the sport, ie proceeds to charity or surfing clubs, sponsorships, etc. Companys that sell for the sake of selling are only looking to profit and totally disrespect the sport of surfing. Surfing is a way of life, it comes from inside, it's in your blood. Wearing a big name doesn't make you a surfer.

i dont understand whats entirely wrong with low level wages in 3rd world countries..Okay yeah they are being paid squat, but I mean its still more than they would earn breaking their backs tilling the land all day..There has to be some incentive in it.. Plus it creates more employment in those empovereshed comunities..Its not like the big names are forcing these people to work :?

so what east coast are you on surf fan?

my view on this is there isn't a clothing company out there that doesnt use child/sweat shop labor, unless its a local dress shirt store or something. so whats the difference? just save money and wear undershirts like me.
