Don't get an NSP shortboard. I hired out one of their 5'6" Fish the other week and thought it was going to be cool as the conditions were about right for it but the board was just so heavy it didn't respond properly at all and I had a really shite sesh. It would charge down the line ok but then when I tried to hop it up onto the lip for a floater it really didn't wanna know.
If you are good enough to ride a board that short then you won't appreciate the weight of these boards.
I reckon an NSP longboard would be ok just to have for shite days and for mates to learn on and stuff tho cos they seem indestructable.
