Mini Mal? Fun board?

Hey, Ive been renting boards for a few months and i rode a board yesterday that was 7'4" and I loved it. I want to get one just like it, only problem is I dont what kind it was. Are Mini Mals and fun boards about this size? whats the difference in those two? Thanks!

A 7'4 could be a funboard or a minimal.

The simplest difference is usually that a mini-mal is quite rounded, particularly the nose, while a funboard is more pointed (but not as much as a shortboard).
Funboards usually have less volume and a bit more rocker too.
