What's the benefit of glassed on fins versus removeable?

Glassed fins present more of a problem if you snap one.
Removable fins can be taken out while transporting to protect against damage.
You can also use different fins for different conditions if you are so inclined.

Yup what he said, but glassed on fins work slightly better due to superior water flow and stuff.
I still opt for removables tho cos of all SP said.

if you love headaches than I suggest getting the glass but if you like easier, safer fins buy the detachable
