Welcome to the Aloha Surf Journal, a unique place where passions coexist to make you live an unforgetable moment and offer you a travel invitation to amazing landscapes, an true escape for your senses to a wonderful universe...

Aloha Surf Journal is an innovant concept completly dedicated to Free-Surf, Travel, Environment & Photography, aimed to reconnect the art of surfing with its roots and core values - Love, Share, Protect, Respect-
During the past 2 years, we travelled along the coastlines of many different countries around the globe to capture the "perfect moment" throught the lens of our camera and our surfer & artist's eye.In the course of this unique "modern gypsy" experience, as we love to call it, we have developped a strong environmental consciousness.

The beauty of the landscapes we explored, the purity of the Australian beaches, the thousands colors of the Fijian corals, the monster waves of the Bask Country in France & Spain, have convinced us to act for the protection of our beloved planet.

Aloha Surf Journal is born from our passions for Surfing, Travelling, Mother Nature, Oceans and obviously Photography. Above all, this project is the result of love that lead us around the globe to live a unique experience, an experience that we would like to share with you today...

It has already travelled thousands of miles from the white sandy beaches of Fiji, to the virgin territories of Australia throught the massive barrels of Spain and France in the quest of the perfect wave & cliché. From articles redaction to exhibitions & donations we are trying to make the Aloha Surf Journal grow quickly in order to share with you our Love & passions throught photography and protect our beloved shores & oceans.

The Hawaiian word "Aloha", used everyday for greetings, to transmit Love or just say "Thank you", has inspired this ambitious project. Today, we would like to share with you these positive energies through are pictures and the Aloha Surf Journal.

This is a bit unclear - how much of each (presumably monetary) contribution is going to eco-charities? If not 100%, why? Or what's the 10% bit about?

It is really clear, I think, 10% of the total amount we will earn each month will be given to a charity. As we dont know yet how much money we will make every month, it is just impossible to forecast a clear amount... Regarding the second question, why not 100%, it is only because we have to live and invest in our project (print pictures, pay lab, equipment) ... If we could we would give everything... Thank you for your interest

So... just to be absolutely clear about this... this is a business that gives 10% of its profits to charity, rather than being a charitable project itself?

Sounds good, do you have any Charities that you particularly plan to give 10% to?
There are none mentioned anywhere in your presentations :!: :!:
Just saying you intend to is one thing, nominating your charities also allies people to think outside the aloha surf journal to contribute. It also gives a heads up to the causes that might need people power
It is part of establishing your credibility to nominate your charities otherwise we might think charity begins at home. Cynical maybe realistic yes!

Sure I understand what you mean! Thank you for your advices! We do not mention any charity because we are in contact with some, talking about possible partnerships. We really want to find a partner in order to work in the long run with the same actor. Anyway, we would love to ally with Sea Shepherd or Surfrider Foundation, even Greenpeace. Thank you for your interest! Cheers and Aloha!
