Graphics Question

Hey guys I'm a graphic designer looking to create a surfing brand for a shop , requesting any interesting latest surfs that will be cool to illustrate , also need to know what you like most about surfing and what you'd look for in a shop that would place it above others and anything about your favourite boards and why , sorry for the randomness but needing primary research ! Awww jaffa comon he was quite polite and at least he hasn't asked us to fill out a survey! I'll answer one of your questions, my favourite boards are the ones i make myself.

Tbh I was expecting better ripping than that... that reminded me of "attempted ripping" that my 12 year old sister tries out once in a while...

It wasn't an attempt at ripping or even drawing blood, my prominent question was do you surf?

My answer is three words in all things I buy, quality of product, knowledgee of salespeople in selling me that product, and biggest of all genuine SERVICE. this is because there is not much difference in things.Now my question again . Do you surf? see item 2.
As for research, a really good way is to go and ask surfers at the beach. BTW I'm in a demographic where I am total unrepresentative of any substantial numbers of surfers.

In response I have surfed in Bournemouth but its been more of an annual thing, on casual funboards and a few thrust boards , but I was trying to get an idea of people who surf regularly, for example I do not live to surf unlike many. But thanks its a great idea to go down the beach and ask some actual surfers, the image is a classic. Thankyou

I'm still curious, is this a surf shop or a shop with pretensions to surfing or a shop trying to develop custom in surfing?
Two questions I would ask the shop is what do they want to achieve as many products with the surfing "Image" are now sold to non surfers surfers are now looking like non surfers and have their own unique and changing style, there are various schools of thought within surfing, which one are you targeting? Some schools of thought are not inclusive of others!!!
Then you have nationality and ethnicity throwing a blend into the mix OH :!:
