Yeah, thanks for sharing that. Pretty silly with WORLDWIDE licensing claim. Wow, >2 dozen patents and 1000's of trade secrets! Such claims remind me of baloney.

It might be worth mentioning that the concept with Wave Box failed in New Zealand.

There are at least 6 different wave producing schemes in development!
Think carefully and take your choice!
Extreme sports in a pool :yearght:

Basic advice, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I am always a little concerned with press releases that have a web site that isn't up and running to show their prospectus, a good good company plan would have the whole box and dice ready for display on release.

Actually you should know the Wave Box was a success the guy that had it built used underrated and used pumps to power the wave and only one pump even ended up working....it was a success all until the guy that got it funded ran off with the a couple mill back to his home country India.

id surf that wadi adventure wave pool or wave garden in a heartbeat! they seem like the only two that produce decent waves (that ive seen on the internet).

id like to see wave pools happen because a)beginners would flock to them and unclog the beach, freeing up some waves, and b)itd be nice to have an option during inclement weather, and a consistent wave to demo/test pilot boards on.

Fair enough answer, thanks.
So poor money management and low quality pumps thanks for your honesty on that, trust that has been solved.
Did he take his money and run because it was failing? or just did a bolt?

I still would like to see an in depth prospectus on your website when it gets running. Seems a little back to front touting your product without a good presentation to follow up!

KS and the Webber Brothers in Australia are two others that have impending systems on offer, comparisons will and should be made!

It interests me be cause there have been a number of artificial reefs made too, quite a few have failed.
The wave pools are a different matter because they need to commercially viable, hence we come back to cost and profit reasoning, demand, novelty and shelf life of both the system and public usage.

As an investor I'd be very concerned.
Billabong in it's current state is an example is a showpiece for non surfers guiding a grassroots surfing product to disaster.
Surfing is moving away from being a viable fashion industry, so as an investor I'd be very concerned.

Just thoughts to consider.

hmmmm: "... you should know the Wave Box was a success the guy that had it built used underrated and used pumps to power the wave and only one pump even ended up working..."

Is that how you spell s-u-c-c-e-s-s? Reminds of the thousands of times motor vehicle racers report, "I would have won the race, if I hadn't crashed out."
