beginner who has trouble with leash!

Postby Alexas_8715 » Fri May 27, 2005 11:35 am

Hello I need some help. I just bought a Balin leash for my board.
I tried to push the looped string end through the plug (so I could pull the string through and tie the leash on itself) but as the string is doubled over its too big and wont get through. Is there another way to do or am i just being a lameass?
hope im making sense. :?
thanks

I'm not really sure I understand. My leash works like this:

I have a piece of string tied round the leash plug which loops through the end of the leash.

The flat bit at the end of the leash is to stop the string from ruining the tail.

??

I think I get it... Try getting a peice of like 20lb test or so and then stick that in the plug, tie the end of that to your string, and pull it through, then tie it off.
