Hi, I'm thinking of hitting Hawaii in 2014. Anyone been? Whats the best time of year to visit? Whats the best island for surfing? Cheers guys

Best time to go is just after summer tourist season and before Christmas holiday season. You'll get the best rates available for hotels and auto rentals at this time. And, the weather is still perfect and the sea is, too.

As far as what is the best island to surf, it depends on your ability and whether you use long or short board.
