I would recommend something 8'-8'6. Assuming you are under 150lb, noseriding will be fine on an 8', although try to get one with a large centre fin (either by itself or with two smaller side fins).

hi fay, i didn't know there was such a difference between epoxy and fibreglass! i can't wait to practice on the longer boards - i've tried the 8'6 recently and as big as it looks, it surprisingly seems on the shorter end when i was on it.
