Virginia Beach?

Hey guys,
I am taking a trip to Virginia at the end of October and am wondering if their is any good surf over there near Virginia Beach. I have never surfed the east coast so do not really know the area at all. Also what is the water temp this time of year?

There's been some info added about spots and water temperature on the Virginia surf spot map.
Hopefully someone can give you some further information.

I was at Virginia beach this spring and did alot of shopping on the Ocean Front strip stores. I had bought a no cursing sign like the ones that are on alot of the streets there and need to know how i can find which store has these and how i can get one. Thanks for any help.

Did you go surfing while you were there in Virginia? If so I am still wondering about the surf there, and where the best spots might be.

Hey, I'm taking a trip down to VB during Christmas break with some buddies but most of them don't surf. Is anyone going to be around during this time who would want to catch some swell with us?

Also, what is the club scene like? It doesn't seem like there is much to do in VB during January.
