people in some areas of germany go totally nuts at 11.11 on 11/11 because it's the official start of the carnival-season

Yesterday at 11am on 11/11/11 my wife and I celebrated our 22ndwedding anniversary great because we call that time 11am of the 11th month Rememberance day or Armistice Day (with respect to the end of WW1 and the lives lost, American call it Veterans' Day) so I never forget our anniversary Rememberance , and our marriage is peaceful Armistice and after 22 years we are probably veterans.

This was a good Friday. Followed our federal Thanksgiving holiday and was warm & sunny. Played lots of electric guitar.

They have been doing this since Thursday at the main beach and just around the corner

away from the madding crowd.
So finally after eight weeks of flat a surf for me and then a photo session.

OMG look at the crowds!!! Not my cuppa tea. Back again aftewr my winter snowboarding road trip. 6 weeks in my van in the alps and the snow was fooking brilliant this year.

A bit of snow kiting too.

-20degrees in the morning on the van

there's a car under this lot

0.5m powder overnight and blue skies in the morning woop woop. Mines the van on the left!
