Hi Bmxer, go for a 9ft board for yourself, the weight age and height factors suggest that and the young fella, something around 8ft the softie will do for now but will soon be outgrown. My sons are 41 and 39 and I have surfed with them since they were nine, they live away now, but a surf reunion is always a great thing occasionally we get one of those in Indonesia, and one planned in Portugal to catch up with my European based son.
It is the best connection you can have with your children.

Hi Everyone. My Name is Andy I live in Lovedean Hampshire, UK not far from the administrator of this site in fact. Started Surfing this year and am totally hooked. Came over from Snowboarding so picking it up seems not too bad. I have a Rip Curl 7ft Mini-Mal and have surfed in the UK only hope that will change real soon. Cheers.

hey guys im Corinne. im a 20 year old half black female surfer from florida. been surfing for only a few months but i already love it. i started on a shortboard and ugh it was hell lol but im finally starting to get the hang of it =]
