Reviving an old topic here.
I've just been reading this on the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15017484

Puzzling results from Cern, home of the LHC, have confounded physicists - because it appears subatomic particles have exceeded the speed of light.

Neutrinos sent through the ground from Cern toward the Gran Sasso laboratory 732km away seemed to show up a few billionths of a second early....

The results will soon be online to draw closer scrutiny to a result that, if true, would upend a century of physics.

Big news in the science world if is the case. I love this stuff.

But because the result is so unexpected and would wreak such havoc with our understanding of the Universe, the group is being particularly cautious

i am in awe about the CERN thing... stuff like that has allways interessted me...
and thinking that i could witness such an incredible break in our understanding of physics and therefore our present understanding of the universe and how its function, is just fantastic...
its like having been there when Einstein came up with E=MC2 - its just the absolute revolution!
